Profile and History :
Prof. Maneesh Shirke is an alumnus of IMDR and is a Postgraduate degree holder (PGDM) from the 2009 batch. His work experience primarily lies in digital and brand marketing from the client side in Mumbai, where he has worked across multiple industries, including Life Insurance, Mutual Funds (AMC), Hospitality, and Real Estate.
He has also been a visiting faculty in Mumbai, teaching digital marketing to working professionals. As a keen observer of how AI is impacting Marketing as a function and how both brands and agencies are adapting to this change, his work has been featured in 'Think with Google', and has served as a jury member for the ET Brand Equity DigiPlus Awards in 2023.
An alumnus of the Ecological Society in Pune, he is also passionate about nature and is an active volunteer in the sustainability space, helping NGOs in their marketing efforts and CSR funding.
Current scenario of Consumer Awareness towards Green Marketing in India. Published in the research journal ROYAL bearing ISSN-2278-8158, presented on 5th January 2018 during National Conference on New Horizons in Accounting, Taxation and Management.
He joined as faculty at IMDR on 3rd June 2025.
