Executive Membership – IMDR Library

The IMDR Library is pleased to offer Executive Membership for alumni, academicians, researchers, and professionals. Through this initiative, we aim to extend our rich academic resources and services to the wider learning community.
Spanning over 3570 sq. ft., the IMDR Library features a spacious and well-lit reading room, offering a peaceful environment ideal for study and research. Users enjoy open access to the collection, fostering independent learning. Our friendly and supportive staff are always ready to assist with finding resources, using library services, or addressing any queries. With its curated reference materials across diverse disciplines, the library stands out among management institutions

Collection Highlights:

  • 18,160+ books and reference sources
  • 841 CDs, 265 DVDs, and 364 audio-visual cassettes
  • 75 periodicals and bound volumes of select journals
  • 8 English and 4 regional newspapers
  • Subscriptions to 51 journals (Indian & Foreign) and 24 magazines

Executive Membership is open to the following:

  • IMDR Alumni
  • Faculty from other academic institutions
  • Research scholars
  • Industry professionals

Services Offered

  • For Reading Hall Only members: Access is restricted to on-premises use of books and reading hall facilities.
  • Borrowing privileges are not available to Reading Hall Only members.
  • Access to physical books (on-premises reading or home lending as per policy)
  • Entry to reading hall
  • Use of select digital databases (if permitted)
  • Participation in library events/book exhibitions

Procedure for Membership Registration

1. Online Application Submission:

- Visit the library tab on the official website.

- Click on the link to apply for Executive Membership.

- Fill in the online form with personal details.

- Upload necessary documents (ID proof, address proof, passport-size photo).

- Make the membership fee payment through the online payment gateway.

2. Approval Process:

- Submitted details are verified by the library team.

- If external applicant, request is forwarded to the Library Committee for approval.

3. Confirmation & Membership Card Issuance:

- Upon approval and payment confirmation, a Membership ID card is issued.

Rules and Regulations

  • Members must follow all library rules
  • Borrowing limits: [2 books for 20 days]
  • Late return fine: [2 Rs/day/book]
  • Loss or damage to books must be compensated
  • No access to restricted areas/databases unless permitted

Renewal & Termination

  • Memberships must be renewed annually by 31st July
  • Full annual fee applies even for mid-year enrollments
  • Membership may be terminated for rule violations
  • No refund of membership fee
