Faculty Profile
Dr. Gopa Das is an Assistant Professor at IMDR, Pune, with over sixteen years of rich experience in academia complemented by industry exposure. She holds a Ph.D. in Corporate Communication and teaches courses in Human Resource Management, Training & Development, Organizational Behaviour, and Competency-Based HRM. Her academic contributions include research papers published in reputed UGC Care and Scopus-indexed journals, as well as co-authored books and case studies, including an ISBN-registered casebook in Human Resource Management. Beyond teaching and research, Dr. Das is actively engaged in mentoring postgraduate students, guiding them in research and professional development. She has also conducted several workshops on leadership, communication, and team building for corporates, government organizations, and educational institutions. With a strong belief in blending conceptual understanding with practical application, she aims to prepare students as competent, industry-ready professionals equipped to meet the evolving challenges of the workplace.
Experience
Dr. Das’s career in academia focuses on bridging theory with application in management education. She has taught at reputed management institutes in Pune and mentored postgraduate students in HR and communication. Her training experience includes leadership development, employee engagement, and organizational communication, delivered to corporates, government bodies, and academic institutions. She has also contributed to curriculum design, accreditation processes, and collaborative academic initiatives.
