Faculty Profile
Dr. Sonali Parimal Khurjekar is an accomplished academic with over thirteen years of postgraduate teaching experience in management education. She specializes in Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, Communication, and Strategic Management. Currently an Associate Professor and Head of the Internship Committee at IMDR, Pune, she brings a rich blend of academic insight and industry engagement to her role. Her doctoral research focused on competency management in the healthcare sector. She has contributed significantly to academic literature through research publications, case studies, and co-authored books. Dr. Khurjekar is also a recognized guide for Doctoral program and has participated in several national and international conferences. She has successfully completed the prestigious 45-day residential Faculty Development Programme (FDP) at IIM Ahmedabad, enhancing her expertise in research methodologies and pedagogy. Passionate about student mentoring and academic innovation, she is committed to contributing meaningfully to the field of management education.
Experience
Dr. Sonali Khurjekar has over thirteen years of rich academic experience, having taught at esteemed institutions such as IMDR Pune, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be) University, and Matrix Business School. Her teaching spans key management areas like HRM, Communication, Strategic Management, and Entrepreneurship. She has led initiatives in curriculum enhancement, academic quality assurance, and internship program coordination. At IMDR, she currently heads the Internship Committee, fostering industry engagement and experiential learning. Dr. Khurjekar has also contributed to Executive MBA programs through the development of self-learning materials and academic content, while mentoring students and guiding research scholars in their FPM journey.
