Summer Internship @ IMDR
Summer internship is an important part of education at IMDR. It is a two months hands on training. As most of the students do not possess any work experience they are not ready for final placements. To make them ready for a job we ask students to undertake full time two months internship wherein students have to actually participate in the various tasks of the organization.
It has become so successful that in the year 2017-18 , eight students got pre-placement offer of decent package from HDFC bank after successful completion of summer internship.
Academically it carries a weightage of 300 marks.
- 40 marks for fortnightly reports
- 60 marks for company mentor evaluation
- 100 marks for final report
- 100 marks for Viva Voce.
During internship faculty mentors and company mentors guide students for doing regular tasks as well as to develop meaningful project from their regular tasks. This is beneficial for both students and companies. It is teaching management through practice.
