Convocation at IMDR

Convocation is the most awaited moment of every diplomate’s life. The ceremony is
characterized by a great amount of excitement and mixed feelings of students as well as
faculty members. The Quadrangle is abuzz with activity and anticipation that culminates in
students receiving their diplomas from the Chief Guest. Apart from students, Convocation
attendees include parents, past and present faculty members, members from our sister
concerns of DES and Friends of IMDR from the Corporate sector as well as people from
all walks of life.

Over the past years several prominent personalities have graced our convocation as
Chief Guests. They include Dr. Arun Firodia, Ms. Anu Agha, Late Mr. Nani A Palkhiwala,
Mr. Darius Forbes Ms. Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Ms Mukta Tilak, Dr. K N Ganesh and
Mr. George Varghese. Each of them have provided words of wisdom and encouragement
to the outgoing batches, which have resonated with each and every student.
