The new academic year brought along with a new batch and a fresh internship season.
IMDR’s student and faculty based Junior Placement Committee (JPC) swung into action
right away. Despite the pandemic, the JPC successfully secured internships for all students
and maintained the streak of 100% placements.

The students too approached the internship season with enthusiasm and vigor. Giving
it their all, the students tackled each challenge that came their way and aced their selection
interviews. The college received numerous positive feedback mails from recruiters, praising
the students and the JPC’s tireless efforts of scheduling and managing the placement process.

At the end of their second semester, students were excited and eagerly awaited their
internships to start. Owing to the pandemic and government restrictions, most students
joined their internships in an online mode. Undeterred by the ‘Work From Home’ scenario,
students were diligent and dedicated towards their work. Connecting remotely with their
reporting managers and team members, students showed exemplary multitasking and
collaborative skills during their internships. For their outstanding performance, multiple
students were offered internship extensions by their respective organisations and countless
others received letters of appreciation and performance incentives.

Armed with knowledge, experience and battle hardened by the prevailing ‘new normal’
of the pandemic, the batch now gears for their final placement.
