IMDR, The Institute of Management Development and Research, Pune.

The Institute occupies about a hectare of land near the south-west corner of the DE Society campus.
In addition, the IMDR staff quarters are located near the north-west corner of the campus.

a Conference Hall to seat 50,
the Library and Reading Hall,
a Computer Centre ,
a Canteen,
a Students’ Common Room and
an Administrative Block.

The total built up area is over 24,000 sq feet.
Besides, there are 10 residential units for the Non-Teaching staff and three for the Teaching staff.

The IMDR wing of the Block 4 of the Gents Hostel of Fergusson College comprises 17 two-seater rooms which are allotted to students of IMDR and CIT. The Ladies Hostel of the Fergusson College offers 4 seats to lady students of IMDR and CIT. Plans are under way to increase the hostel accommodation for lady students.

The Library stocks books, journals, directories and project reports. Together the texts and reference books number more than 9,400, with a separate section for International Trade. The Library has an Electronic Corporate Database of 16,000 companies, which is updated fortnightly at present. All library records are computerised.

The library stocks educational Audio and Video Cassettes and these are extensively used in the classrooms. They are also available to students for self-study.

The Centre is primarily a Learning facility and has a resource room for conducting hands-on training and presentations. The Centre has state-of-the-art hardware and software to meet the needs of students of Management and International Trade. The computer-lab-in-charge organises training on commonly used software packages. The office, the faculty rooms, the library and the computer centre are networked. The lab has a Broadband connection for Internet access.

AUDITORIUM

The auditotium has a capacity of 175 and is equiped with all the state-of-the-art audio visual equipment. It is host to formal and informal educational and cultural activities.

CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA

The campus has an extension counter of The Central Bank of India-Deccan Gymkhana Branch. The bank timings are Monday to Friday 1.00pm - 5.00pm, Saturday 10.00am -12.00 noon. All transactions regarding fees are to be carried out at bank.

Playgrounds of sister institutions, Fergusson College and BMCC are available to our students. The Auditorium has the TV and VCR facility and there is also a Table Tennis room. There is a Students’ Common Room as well.
