Gautam Ghate  

Gautam Ghate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of Pune, and MDBA from IMDR. He conducts the Information Systems courses for PGDM-1 and PGDM-2 at the institute. He chairs the Computer Centre facility.

He has a varied experience of over 13 years in the field of Information Technology, and has an expertise in DTP, Software development and design. He began his career in the electronic publishing field and later moved on to web development. In his last appointment he was Senior Manager Operations with a software company based in Pune, employing over one hundred persons.

His responsibilities included driving software development, day-to-day operations and marketing activities. He has joined IMDR in 2003.

His interests include exploring emerging computing technologies, electronics, swimming and trekking. He is also keen on traditional Indian music and has learnt to play the tabla.
