Ajay Nagre is a Management Graduate from the University of Pune, with specialization in Marketing Management & Finance. He also holds a Masters Diploma in Business Administration, with specialization in Foreign Trade from the prestigious Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi, and a Bachelors Degree in Science, with specialization in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, from the University of Pune.
He is an entrepreneur with over 25 years of industrial experience, in the field of the design, development and manufacture of transportation trailers. |

His expertise lies in Marketing, New Product Development and Industrial Relations. He has extensive experience in Rural Marketing and Marketing of Consumer Durables.
In addition to his industrial career, he also has almost 20 years of academic experience. He has worked as visiting faculty since 1989, and has taught at well-known management institutes like Symbiosis Institute of Foreign Trade (SIFT), Pune, Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies (KIAMS), Harihar, Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning, Pune, and Pune University MBA (PUMBA). He has dedicated himself completely to the academic field since July 2006.
His interests are in the area of Global Business Management, Strategic Management and International Business and Marketing. He has conducted training programmes for executives of Tata Motors, Lokmanya Hospital, and Sanskruti Group of Companies. He has also presented several papers on topics like International Marketing, Trends in Management Education and Entrepreneurial Marketing, at prestigious conferences.
He has worked as Chairman, Paper Setter, Moderator, and Examiner for the University of Pune since 1997. He has anchored the process of developing the course structure and syllabi of two courses, as also the initial setting up of the library for the Institute of International Business and Research, Pune. He has also worked as a member of the MBA/MCA selection panel for IMDR, IIBR, IBMR, and Pune University; as a member of the jury for a National Case Study competition conducted by the D. Y. Patil Institute of Management, Pune (1998-2003) and the Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies, Harihar (2005). He is also a member of the Governing Council of the Model Education Society, which has founded the Panvel International School.
