Abhijeet Shivane is a faculty in Operations at IMDR. He has done his B.E.(Mech) and DBM from Dr.B.A.M.U. Aurangabad, MMS from Pune University, and MBA  from CSM IGS Canada (Center - TASMAC Pune). He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Management from RTM Nagpur University on ‘Impact of IT on Banking Service Operations’.

His total work experience is of 14 years which includes four years in industry and ten years in teaching. Initially he worked with Garware Polyester Ltd Aurangabad as a Maintenance Engineer from 1996 to 2000. Due to interest in teaching he entered in the teaching field. He has taught in various Management and Engg institutes which includes ICFAI National College at Akola, Omegan School of Business Aurangabad, Govt College of Engg Aurangabad, P.E.S.College of Engineering Aurangabad, Govt.Polytechnic Jalna, Govt.Polytechnic, Latur. He joined IMDR in 2010.

His expertise is in Operations Management, Quantitative Methods, Business Research Methods, Sales and Distribution Management, and Managing Knowledge Workers. He has also presented a research paper on ‘Sub Prime Crisis & It’s Impact On Indian Economy’ presented at a National Conference on “Globalization :- Indian economy Present Scenario” sponsored by UGC in February 2009 at  R.A. College Washim (Maharashtra)
