Each speaker brought to the table their wide experiences in dealing with the latest communication technologies and how adapting to it fast was necessary to keep pace in the modern business world. Topics as far ranging as the modus of use of ATM cards in small talukas in rural India to four year old nieces who learn and use smart phone applications within hours that takes adults months to figure out were discussed by the first two speakers, Mr. Kulkarni and Mr. Honmode.

The third speaker Mr. Mulay discussed  the differences in the job offerings in the current day market and said that just knowing technology alone will not help, and qualitative understanding of the subjects are required. Ms. Taneja, who spoke next, elaborated on the need for the individuals to find out what technology best suited them, instead of going for the usual suspects without understanding how a particular medium would serve them, while Mr. Chaudury, who spoke last gave the gathered population a bird’s eye view about how technology and software was aiding supply chains and logistics of delivery.
After the symposium was over, it was time for entertainment, and the current students of the institute had put together a truly cultural spectacle, which included dances, songs and skits from various parts of the wonder that is India. The programme ended with dinner.
The meet continued on Sunday morning with informal discussion sessions in classrooms, with the alumni meeting current students and the teachers and guides of their past to share with them their experiences in the work arena.
