  PGDIT - Admission Process
 

Graduates from any discipline with or without work experience are eligible to apply for admission to this programme, provided they have obtained not less than 50% marks at graduation. Final year graduate students are also eligible, provided they have scored not less than 50% marks at the immediately preceding examination.

Selection is made through two stages:

Stage 1 - CAT Score / Written Test
 
 
Stage 1 is the written test. All candidates are required to give the CAT OR IMDR entrance test. Admissions to PGDIT are based on the CAT scores OR marks secured in the entrance test which is conducted in IMDR . The entrance test at IMDR is generally conducted in March every year. Short listed candidates go through Stage 2 of the admission process which is the Group Work and Interview.

Stage 2 - Personal Interview & Group Work
 
 
In Stage 2, there are two parallel processes of Group Work and Personal Interview. Both are intended to assess the candidates’ competencies. Preparation is neither necessary nor desirable for this stage. The final selection is made on the basis of overall assessment of the candidate. The selection is announced within ten days after after stage 2.

There are 50 seats for this programme.
